As a Field Engineer at Custom Valve Repair, you will play a vital role in delivering top-notch engineering solutions and support to our clients in the field. This position is essential for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of valve systems across multiple industries.

- Production processes and implementation
- Evaluate and repair control valves, manual valves, safety valves and valve operators
- Calibrate and troubleshoot pneumatic and electronic controllers
- Inspect, repair and test valve assemblies
- Execute general shop maintenance including storage and clean up, shipping/receiving
- All proper training will be provided to ensure efficiency and success as a Field Engineer
- Repair and testing of valves is an extremely specialized industry. Candidates would be expected to work as a valve technician to acquire valve knowledge
- Application engineering
- Determine the
- best valve or system of valves that fit a customer's needs based on sizing parameters or special requirements
- Complete walk-downs for future jobs to help sales estimate time and materials as well as to make considerations for the technicians so they can work efficiently as possible when on site
- Act as an on site crew leader and point person to customers during large scale jobs such as outages
- Complete job estimations
- Tear down and troubleshooting of customer owned property for inspection, repair, reassembly and testing based on customer communications
- Assemble, test and paint new or used valves
- Field service work as needed based on workload
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience
- Technically inclined ability to perform in a team environment as well as alone with minimal supervision
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Field and/or Industrial)
- High computer literacy (Microsoft office, Outlook and/or Quick Books
