KLE is seeking a Field Clerk 2 to support daily operations on our utility client's project sites. This union-represented position plays a vital role in maintaining accurate documentation, crew coordination, and compliance within a high-performance utility environment.
- Provide day-to-day clerical and administrative support to field supervisors and crews
- Maintain accurate records of crew timesheets, equipment usage, and materials
- Track and enter work orders, job statuses, and daily reports into internal systems
- Communicate with field staff, dispatch, and office personnel to coordinate work activities
- Prepare and file necessary documentation including permits, inspection records, and safety reports
- Order and track inventory and field materials
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and documentation standards
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned in a fast-paced field office environment
- 1–3 years of administrative or clerical experience (field or construction environment preferred)
- Familiarity with utility work codes, processes, and compliance systems preferred
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and able to learn industry-specific software
- Experience with SAP.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on professionalism.
- Comfortable working in a field office environment; some travel between local job sites may be required
- Prior union experience and utility project exposure a plus
