Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Facility Manager in Oak Ridge, TN.
The Facility Manager will oversee the operation of a facility containing classified materials, information, or nuclear assets. Duties include:
- Maintain strict security protocol: Ensure strict compliance with all federal, DOE, and National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) security directives.
- Manage operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the classified facility, which could include nuclear material, laboratories, or hazardous materials storage. This involves coordinating staffing, scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation.
- Ensure safety and compliance: Ensure the health and safety of all personnel, and coordinate emergency and incident response planning. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and maintaining the facility's Safety Basis documentation.
- Oversee facility projects: Manage a wide range of facility activities, such as construction, maintenance, and modification projects. This includes developing budgets, overseeing contractors, and ensuring all projects meet safety and programmatic requirements.
- Direct facility personnel: Lead and manage a team of technical and operational staff, including hiring, training, and performance reviews
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field required
- 15+ years relevant experience.- Ability to work independently
- Mut have DOE Experience
- Active “Q” Clearance required
- Must be a United States Citizen
