POSITION SUMMARY: The Facilities Specialist will have responsibility for maintaining and overseeing the company’s grounds, buildings, and equipment to ensure that the workspace is safe and functional. Their duties include negotiating contracts with service providers, inspecting facilities to meet safety regulations and coordinating renovations and updates.

The Facilities Specialist is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee will be exposed briefly at times to a wide range of extreme temperatures, wind, sand, uneven terrain, etc. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 49 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee should have the mental and physical aptitude to assemble furniture and other moderate-scale furnishings, and equipment as required.
Work hours may include or includes early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on business necessity.
