Facilities & Production Support Associate

Job Summary

The Facilities & Production Support Associate plays a key role in ensuring that our facility remains clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards. This individual will be responsible for daily cleaning and maintenance tasks and will also provide hands-on support to the production team once facility care responsibilities are complete. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a light manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in production areas, offices, and common spaces, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.

- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other high-traffic areas.

- Manage waste disposal by emptying trash receptacles and ensuring proper handling of recyclables and waste.

- Replenish and monitor cleaning supplies, reporting any shortages to the supervisor.

- Maintain compliance with company safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.

- Identify and report maintenance needs or safety hazards promptly.

- Assist with periodic deep-cleaning projects or special assignments as required.

- Support production operations with a variety of tasks once cleaning duties are complete.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in industrial or commercial cleaning preferred.

- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.

- Familiarity with the safe handling and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Physical capability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs. as required.

- Dependable, punctual, and adaptable to changing priorities.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Must successfully pass a background check.

Working Conditions

- Light manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, noise, and machinery (all required safety training provided).

- Standard schedule: 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

- Personal protective equipment (PPE) provided.
