Fabrication Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication processes and techniques, with a focus on quality and efficiency. The Fabricator will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and schematics, utilizing various tools and equipment to create high-quality products that meet industry standards.

Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications.

- Operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and FCAW to join metal components effectively.

- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks.

- Perform pipe threading, ductwork assembly, and general fabrication duties as required.

- Conduct quality checks using calipers and micrometers to ensure precision in measurements.

- Engage in rigging activities for the safe movement of materials and components

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols and ASME codes & standards.

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while meeting deadlines.

Skills

- Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and soldering.

- Familiarity with mechanical knowledge and basic math skills for precise measurements.

- Experience with fabrication processes including machining, assembly, and ductwork installation.

- Ability to operate forklifts safely and effectively as needed.

- Strong understanding of using various hand tools, power tools, and equipment relevant to fabrication tasks.

- Capability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $750.00 - $1,088.85 per week
