Fabrication Project Coordinator – Summer Student

NSGC is currently accepting applications for Fabrication Project Coordinator – Summer Student for the months of May to August 2026. Our diverse Group of Companies consists of Northern Strands, Fortis Mining, Engineering, & Manufacturing, and Certified Sales & Rentals comprising 14 divisions ranging from rigging/lifting products, fall protection, suspended access, agri-business field services and safety training to mining site services, fabrication, rentals, repairs, testing and recertification. What You’ll Be Doing

- Provide assistance with engineering design and technical support for manufacturing and fabrication projects

- Assist with preparation and execution of overall work plan and schedule

- Translate general work requirements into a prioritized plan for individual tasks and assignments

- Prepare simple plans and reports with the related engineering calculations

- Provide other technical project support as required

- Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Table

- Ability to commence full-time (40 hours/week) work from the beginning of May until the end of August 2026

- Ability to understand and follow directions

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

- Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal

- Ability to handle competing priorities simultaneously

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

- Ability to work well alone or in a team setting

- Experience with Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) required

- Possess a positive and professional attitude, set a high standard, and convey professionalism at all times
