Fabrication Supervisor

Fabricated Metal Products in Cudahy, WI. has an immediate need for an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to manage and lead our fabrication team. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fabrication department making sure that all projects are completed on time and of the highest quality. Your responsibilities include mentoring and training employees, troubleshooting issues, and working with other departments to help ensure smooth workflow and excellent communication. Maintaining and enforcing safety requirements and procedures within the workplace is critical. You will monitor and maximize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Requirements

- Must have proven fabrication background in a job shop environment with supervisory experience.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities.

- Knowledge of steel fabricating techniques, welding, equipment and tools.

- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications.

- Familiar with AWS D1.1 Welding Code.

- Committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

- Skilled in using relevant software and tools for planning and reporting.

- Meticulous attention to detail for accurate fabrication and quality control.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
