Reporting to the Exploration General Supervisor, you will be part of the Exploration Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

- Foster a positive Health and Safety culture with contractors and coworkers;

- Participate in Health and Safety meetings and ensure that environmental and safety protocols are followed on the work sites;

- Conduct Health and Safety inspections at drilling sites;

- Complete technical logging of drill core;

- Assist geologists in core logging activities;

- Support the maintenance of tools and buildings;

- Manage drill core and rock samples inventory;

- Participate in field mapping programs;

- Plan and participate in outcrop stripping and channel sampling programs;

- Collaborate with geological and technical colleagues to ensure consistency.

What You Need To Succeed

- High School Diploma, College Diploma preferred

- Experience operating a loader or forklift an asset;

- Excellent problem solving skills;

- Valid Drivers license;

- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Your Work Schedule

- Schedule: Schedule: 8 days of work, followed by 6 days for transportation and rest;

- Location: Dobie, ON.

- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
