Experienced Valve Technician

JC Inspection and Valve Service is hiring full time experienced valve technicians for our Grande Prairie, Alberta location.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Safely and accurately conduct non-destructive testing (UT ands MPI services)

- Valve services, tear down and assembly of various styles of valves

- Use of hand tools

- Working with Pressure Control equipment (hydro pumps)

- Good communication with team members

- Field Service work as needed

- Troubleshooting

- General shop duties as required

The right candidate will possess:

- 3 years minimum experience in the valve industry is an asset

- ASNT Level ll an asset (VT/MT/UT/PT)

- Strong work ethic

- Good verbal and communication skills

- A valid drivers license

- Safety Tickets: H2S, Fist Aid, CSO an asset

- Ability to work overtime if required

- Ability to work away from home for extended periods at a time

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
