Gas Service Technician

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gas Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in propane gas technical services and a passion for problem-solving. As a Gas Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining indoor & outdoor home heating equipment . Your expertise will contribute significantly to our commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.

Duties

- Perform maintenance and repairs on various residential indoor & outdoor heating equipment.

- Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot common issues.

- Conduct annual inspections to identify potential problems and recommend solutions to homeowners.

- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.

- Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.

- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with homeowners regarding repairs and maintenance needs.

- Work with the installation team as needed.

- Willingness to work an on-call weekend and after-hours rotation.

- Safely operate company vehicles.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Gas Service Technician or in a similar role.

- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required.

- Technical certification is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
