Second Shift - Heavy Equipment Operator

for our operation located in

Shepherdsville, KY

Job Details Bullitt County Stone - Rogers Group Inc - Shepherdsville, KY Full-Time Night Shift - approximate shift times of 08:00 p.m. – 06:00 a.m. Starting pay for this position is $27/hr. This includes a $23.00/hr. base pay + $4.00/hr. for shift differential. Candidates with mining experience - specifically underground mining experience may be subject to hire starting pay. Additional pay may be available based on the candidate’s experience level and skill set.

Job Duties

- Openness to operating a variety of heavy equipment and machinery in a rock quarry including dozer, excavator, front end loader, roof bolter, drill, and general work around the operation

- Perform daily pre and post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies

- Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management

- Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency

- Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment

- Other duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications

- Individual must be dedicated to operating safely at all times

- Individual must be willing to perform any task required at quarry

- Must be able to identify and alert management to maintenance issues with equipment

- Ability to compete pre-operation inspection paperwork

- Experience operating heavy equipment required

- Flexibility to work overtime and weekend when necessary

- Team player attitude

- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
