Expeditor-Precision Sheet Metal Manufacturing

Irving Tool and Mfg. Co., Inc. was founded in 1952 to supply the growing fine instrument and electronics industries with precision-made stamping, tools, dies, machined parts, and sheet metal fabricated components. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join our team. Expediters are primarily tasked with maintaining a clear and organized tracking system for all orders and deliveries.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor and track the progress of production orders to ensure timely delivery.

- Coordinate and communicate between various departments to prevent any delays in production.

- Identify and resolve any issues concerning inventory shortages, quality discrepancies, or supplier delays.

- Ensure that all materials are stocked appropriately in advance of need.

- Keep detailed records of production activities, including inventory levels, lead times, and delivery schedules.

- Report regularly to management on production status and any potential bottlenecks.

Qualifications:

- Experience in supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment.

- Strong math skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to multi-task and stay organized under pressure.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

- Knowledge of MRP systems required.

Monday through Thursday work schedule - 7:00 am to 5:30 pm
