Sheet Metal Fabrication Assistant (Entry Level)

Certified Drug-Free Workplace Participating Employer. Pre-employment drug screen required.

This position is an entry-level position for a career in sheet metal fabrication and machining. No experience necessary!

Leran job skills such as laser cutting, sheet metal forming and fabricaton, milling and turning, CAD/CAM design, welding, dimensional inspection as well as other skills.

This position will be responsible initially for miscellaneous tasks as directed, such as building crates, packaging shipments, conducting inventory cycle counts, maintenance of facilities and grounds.

JOB REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

*Strong desire to learn a trade.

*Excellent communication skills.

*Strong attention to detail.

*Positive attitude.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

*Experience in use of power tools.

*MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)

*Forklift experience/certification.

*Valid Georgia Driver's License.

Hours 6:00 - 4:30 Monday - Thursday

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
