We're on the hunt for a highly skilled Construction Permit Expeditor to join our growing team in Dublin, CA. If you’re driven, safety-focused, and ready to grow with a company that values your experience, this is your moment. You’ll manage all aspects of the permitting process for petroleum construction and maintenance projects.
The pay range is $26/hr- $28/hr depending on experience and includes benefits PTO and 401k.
- Research and identify permit requirements from all applicable agencies for each project.
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers to understand client-specific permitting needs.
- Prepare and submit permit applications through various online portals and agency systems.
- Track and document the progress of all pending permits using Google Sheets or Excel.
- Communicate regularly with agencies to follow up on application status and resolve issues.
- Address and correct any comments or deficiencies required by reviewing authorities.
- Compile and submit final close-out documentation upon permit approval.
- Attend in-person agency appointments as needed.
- Highly organized with the ability to effectively manage multiple active permits and deadlines.
- Ability to navigate local and state regulatory processes efficiently
- Prior experience in permitting, construction administration, or related fields is a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong computer proficiency with online applications, document management, and tracking tools.
- Moderate experience using Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Some CAD experience is preferred (not required).
Some positions require travel and overnight stays. Travel expenses will be covered by Nwestco, LLC
