Position: Event Promoter - San Diego County (Part Time)

Are you energetic, love talking to people, and interested in sales? Shugarman’s Bath is looking for an enthusiastic Event Promoter to join us at events in San Diego County—including Home Shows, local fairs, and especially the San Diego County Fair!

As the face of the company, you'll be the first point of contact for potential customers, setting the stage for an amazing experience. Your main responsibility will be engaging with prospects, answering their questions, and scheduling appointments for our expert Design Consultant to provide FREE In-Home Consultations for bathtub and shower remodeling. It’s all about creating a welcoming, positive first impression.This is a Part time position but exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on interacting with people and is eager to gain valuable sales experience. If you have exceptional customer service skills and are confident in your sales potential, you have a chance to make a lot of money!

Even better—this role can be a stepping stone to something bigger. One of our former Event Promoters recently moved into our In-Home Sales Representative position! While we can’t make promises, we’re growing fast—especially now that we’ve officially opened our second location in Orange County—so there may be room to grow with us.

What You’ll Do:

•

Book appointments for customers to meet with our design team.

•

Engage with attendees and customers at our company booths throughout events and shows in San Diego County.

•

Answer any questions about our bath remodel process— don’t worry, we’ll teach you everything!

•

Provide sales and marketing support in building a pipeline of leads to meet company quotas and objectives.

•

Represent Shugarman’s Bath in a professional and enthusiastic manner.

•

Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.

You are ok working outdoors and indoors, such as fairgrounds, home expos and various locations.

You are okay with being on your feet during prolonged periods.

You are able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. This could involve tasks such as moving event materials or assisting with physical event arrangements

What You Should Know:

•

Schedule: Varies; typically 6-hour shifts on weekends, sometimes weekdays.

•

Employment Type: Part-Time

Compensation:

•

Hourly Rate: $20 per hour

•

Bonus Opportunities: Earn a bonus for each appointment you book that results in an in-home demonstration by our design consultant. $100 per appointment booked at non-industry events and $50 per appointment booked at industry events.

•

Potential Earnings: With bonuses, you could potentially make $100,000 per year. It’s all in your hands.

•

Paid Bi-Montly

•

401k: Eligible to participate in the company 401(k) after 90 days.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum Requirements

•

High school diploma or equivalent

•

Authorization to work in the U.S.

•

Reliable transportation

•

Must be available weekends

•

Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors (office, expos, fairgrounds, etc.)

•

The successful candidate will be subject to our pre-employment background check, and drug screening.
