Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Customer Service Coordinator to support employee engagement initiatives in Houston.
In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for employees by managing and distributing tickets for company-sponsored events while ensuring a smooth, professional experience. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, staying organized, and working in a structured, fast-paced environment. You will play an important role in supporting employee participation and engagement through accurate tracking, clear communication, and strong attention to detail.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding ticket availability, requests, and distribution
- Communicate clearly and professionally via email, phone, and in-person interactions
- Distribute tickets for local events such as professional sports games and large community events
- Track ticket inventory, assignments, returns, and usage with a high level of accuracy
- Maintain organized records and tracking spreadsheets using Excel
- Ensure timely updates to logs for reporting and accountability
- Respond to employee questions and resolve issues efficiently, escalating when needed
- Assist with basic reporting on ticket usage and participation
- Identify trends or recurring issues and communicate improvements to the team
- Provide occasional support for employee events or engagement initiatives
- Strong customer service experience in a customer-facing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong organizational abilities
- Basic proficiency in Excel (data entry, tracking, spreadsheets)
- Ability to manage multiple requests while maintaining accuracy
- Reliable, responsive, and able to follow through on tasks
- Experience with event coordination or employee engagement programs
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Ticketmaster or similar platforms)
- Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, or reporting)
- Experience supporting administrative processes or internal operations
- Hybrid schedule: Work from home Monday & Friday
- In-office Tuesday–Thursday (Houston – Greenway area)
- Standard hours: Monday–Friday, ~9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Occasional light evening or weekend support (minimal and infrequent)
