The Estimator will prepare and/or review the project cost estimate at different project stages and will also establish and maintain project data. This role reports to the Estimating Lead.
Responsibilities May Include:
Follow corporate cost estimate methodology and guidelines
Participate in cost estimate kick-off meetings to establish all deliverables, including formats and cost estimate review schedule
Ensure alignment of project scope and the cost estimate
Monitor and review the cost estimate preparation process by EPC or site to ensure that proper methodology is been used
Ensure alignment between the cost estimate and the project schedule and execution strategy
Assist Projects Services group in organizing the Cost Control Estimate
Assist in the calculation of costs associated with change order or trends and/or validation
Ensure that the cost estimate data is loaded in the corporate database
Support Central Projects Development group to prepare early cost (FEL 0 – FEL1) estimates
Reconcile previous approved estimate versus current approved
Maintain document trail to facilitate internal audits of critical commercial internal control systems
Maintain project cost estimate documentation and data preservation procedures
Required Qualificiations:
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
3 or more years of cost estimate or related experience on large projects or multiple small projects in the industry
Knowledge of AspenTech Capital Cost Estimator
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Business, Construction Management or related study
7 or more years of cost estimate or related experience on large capital projects or multiple small projects in the industry
