Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an Estimator to support our preconstruction team. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, organized, and understands the importance of accurate takeoffs and cost analysis in building a successful project from the ground up. This is a full-time job in-office position.

Compensation: Based on experience

Responsibilities:

- Review bid documents and plans to develop clear, complete, and competitive estimates.

- Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for materials, labor, and equipment.

- Solicit pricing from suppliers and subcontractors, evaluating scope and cost.

- Collaborate with the project team to ensure accuracy and alignment in scope.

- Track bid status and maintain organized records for submitted proposals.

- Assist with pre-bid meetings, clarifications, and project handoffs as needed.

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of estimating experience in civil or utility construction preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret construction plans.

- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel.

- Familiarity with water, sewer, and storm drain scopes is a plus.

- Excellent communication and time management skills.

- Ability to work independently and under deadlines.
