Estimator (Drafting Skills Preferred)

We’re a growing pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) company with the projects, the shop, and the drive to scale. We’re looking for the right people to join us and grow into long-term roles.

Position Summary

This role is designed for someone with drafting experience who wants to move into estimating. You will primarily learn and perform estimating duties while using your drafting skills intermittently for project support. We provide full training on estimating — what you need to bring is CAD ability, construction awareness, and the drive to grow.

Responsibilities

· Learn and perform material takeoffs and cost estimates for PEMB projects

· Assist in preparing proposals and supporting the sales process

· Use AutoCAD for drawings, shop tickets, and nesting support as needed

· Collaborate with sales and fabrication teams to ensure accuracy and deadlines are met

· Develop a strong understanding of PEMB construction and fabrication practices

Qualifications

· AutoCAD proficiency required (ProNest experience a plus)

· Background in construction, fabrication, or PEMBs — know your way around a building

· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

· Interest in building a career in estimating, with drafting as a support skill

· Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday

Occasional overtime based on project needs
