Description PURPOSE OF POSITION
To provide accurate and competitive quote proposals and technical support to sales staff (ISR’s, outside sales, International, etc.) in a timely manner for pulleys and, when necessary, this person will be involved with applications, estimating non-standard product, quoting, order entry and complaint resolution.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. More Specifically, The Employee Owner Will
- Provide pricing on cost plus items.
- Assist by providing technical information.
- Work with Engineering to insure correct product construction.
- Learn and possess strong product and system knowledge.
- Read and understand specifications from engineering firms to provide accurate quotes.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, preferences, and feedback in the CRM to personalize and enhance communication and follow-up strategies.
- Use CRM to track and manage sales leads, ensuring all information is accurately recorded and updated.
- Provide sales and market information based on daily contact with customers.
- Provide back-up for other Pulley Estimators.
- Determine which inquiries will be quoted or declined in conjunction with Product Specialist.
- Coordinate communications between Sales, Production, Purchasing, Quality Control and Shipping
- Perform extra assignments and related tasks in the work area.
- Continually participate in additional training related to the position.
- Participate in process mapping and continuous improvement materials and ideas.

- Must be proficient in excel; Pivot Tables, Formatting Sheets, Math formulae, filters, etc.
- Ability to prioritize and mange time in order to accomplish work.
- Good organizational skills and experience in working with teams towards measured outcomes.
- Must have strong math skills
- Must have good communication skills
- Great Time Management Skills
- Ability to work in a high paced environment
- Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or
- One to three years related experience and/or training; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Continually participate in additional training related to the job.
