Estimator ( construction, natural stones )

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with proficiency in CAD or similar. As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in assessing project costs, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that our projects are completed within budget while meeting quality standards.

Duties

· Interpret Architectural & Interior design drawings, specification, scope of work for the project.

· Accurate take off on material, Machining time and labour as per the project requirement.

· Ability to work on multiple tenders with tight deadlines.

· Close bids within the bid due date.

· Assist project coordinator and project manager throughout the project.

· Request prices from the suppliers and subcontractors.

· RFI if the drawings or scope of work are not clear.

· Maintain the costing documents and files.

· Follow up on submitted quotes

Skills:

· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft excel, Pdf and Microsoft outlook.

· Excellent communication skills verbally and written.

· Ability to work with Architect/ Interior designer / GC and clients.

· Highly organized at work.

· Experience in contracts negotiation meetings with clients.

Basic Qualification:

· Experience in bidding process.

· Knowledge about contract documents.

· Construction education background is required
