WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday (between the hours of 6AM - 6PM)
WORK LOCATION: 4038 E Superior Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85040
The Estimating Coordinator provides administrative support to the Estimating department to assist with the procurement of work.
- Download all documents from various software programs that pertain to a specific job.
- Organize said documents in our internal software program.
- Extract any sheets needed in Bluebeam.
- Schedule all kickoff meetings to discuss the project after approval from Estimating Manager.
- Maintain and update Building Connected invites per notes (accept or decline).
- Maintain and update the What If Analysis daily.
- Attend and take notes for BDNexus Meetings.
- Coordinate with Business Development on the Leads Spreadsheet.
- Attend events & join construction organizations.
- Schedule and take notes for all Kickoff’s & Turnover’s.
- Coordinate with the General Contractors on site walks and job walks.
- Schedule and coordinate the Weekly and Group Estimating Meetings with the Estimating Manager.
- Order & organize all office supplies needed for the front building.
- Order & organize all kitchen supplies needed for the front building & training room.
- Order & organize all toiletries needed for the front building.
- Greet incoming visitors with a smile and helpful tone.
- Intermediate to advanced PC literacy, including experience in MS Word/Excel and estimating software
- Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and analysis skills
- Strong service orientation
- High school diploma/GED required
- 3 years office/clerical work in construction industry (construction preferred)
- Experience using estimating construction software preferred
- Knowledge of standard contract terms and how they are applied in construction preferred
- Knowledge of project structure in General Contractor/Subcontractor environment preferred
- Ability to sit or stand at a desk for long hours when working in the office
- Ability to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity equipment
- Ability to lift 20 pounds as needed in routine activities associated with position
- Ability to wear PPE when working/visiting a project location
- Ability to work in extreme heat when working/visiting a project location
- Ability to move safely over uneven terrain when working/visiting a project location
