Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for an Estimate Lead opportunity to support the Savannah River Site.
- Review source data including engineering documents.
- Work with Volume III Lead to develop estimating plan and handbook.
- Identify scope of work areas that require subcontract support or specially engineered equipment, and work with Supply Chain to write specifications and obtain pricing.
- Identify scope of work areas that require subject matter expertise, and work with Proposal Manager to identify appropriate SMEs.
- Select appropriate estimate methodologies.
- Oversee development of detailed estimates.
- Participate in review process and ensure comments and feedback are implemented.
- Twenty-five years of experience in engineering, construction, operations, estimating, scheduling, project controls, proposal development, and/or project management.
- Experience developing multi-billion-dollar cost estimates.
- Specific experience leading cost estimates for heavy industrial (e.g., chemical processing, oil and gas) and/or nuclear facilities.
- Four-year degree. (candidates not meeting the education requirements may be considered based on additional relevant experience).
