Equipment Operator

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.

Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Train to Operator D-9 Dozer and other heavy Equipment, i.e.: Front-end loader, Bobcat, Man-lift, and Track-hoe

In order to appropriately perform the essential duties of this job, regular work attendance is required.

Able to carry out supervisors instructions.

Self-motivated.

Safety in performance of duties common to the position.

Ability to work with others.

Must possess and maintain a valid driver vehicle license

Must pass and complete any required Kinder Morgan specific safety training as may be required by Customers) and as required at all Kinder Morgan work locations.

Must obtain and/or meet all requirements to enter foreign trade zones; such as background checks by both the U.S. Coast Guard and the Department of Homeland Security, i.e. obtain and maintain a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC).

Must be willing and able to work as part of a team.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
