As the lead for Records Management and Document Control (RMDC), you won’t just manage paperwork—you’ll be the architect of control systems that safeguard compliance and operational excellence. You’ll lead the implementation, improvement, and daily operation of our Document Management Center (DMC)—ensuring sensitive records and controlled documents are securely maintained, distributed, and retrieved in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements. You’ll support inspections and audits, resolve discrepancies, and manage retention systems for complex technical projects and data packages. This role requires independent judgment and initiative to keep our records program ahead of the curve—and compliant at every step.
We’d Love To Hear From People With:
- An associate degree and 3+ years of experience in document or records management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to manage sensitive materials with discretion and professionalism
- Experience developing and improving document control processes
- The ability to obtain and maintain a “Q” level security clearance
- A bachelor’s degree or technical training in document control, compliance, or database management
- Experience with OpenText eDOCS RM and DM
- Knowledge of database configuration and document retention compliance (DOE/NRC preferred)
- Experience leading process audits or assessments
Prior involvement managing or training others in a lead or project capacity
