Environmental Specialist I

Primary Function

Under general supervision, as an entry-level specialist performs project assignments in environmental regulatory compliance for implementation and support of District projects, operations and actions, including the Quantification Settlement Agreement Monitoring and Reporting Program. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, biology, environmental engineering or related degree.

Licensing & Certification Requirements

Veteran's Preference (External Applicants Only): Submit DD form 214 or other evidence of veterans' status by the job posting deadline.

Other Requirements/Testing

A negative drug test is required as a condition of employment.
