In this role, you’ll ensure compliance with environmental regulations and help shape the future of renewable energy by supporting permitting, audits, and sustainability programs.
Job Description Key Requirements:
- Support environmental permitting and compliance for wind, solar, and storage projects.
- Partner with developers, engineers, and agencies to assess risks and find sustainable solutions.
- Conduct site audits and lead environmental training across our fleet.
- Help implement environmental management systems (ISO 14001) and reporting programs.
- Contribute to biodiversity efforts by identifying and monitoring wildlife near our sites.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
- 1 to 5 years’ experience in environmental permitting, compliance, or regulatory affairs.
- Experience with NEPA, ESA, wetlands, stormwater, and waste management programs.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations in the U.S. (Canada experience is a plus).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Overnight travel 25-50%
- Base Pay: $65,000 – $110,000 (based on experience, education, and skillset)
- 10% Annual Performance Bonus (based on individual and company performance)
