Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to lead and manage environmental consulting projects with a focus on agricultural systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agricultural sciences, technical consulting, technical writing, and proven project management skills. This role involves designing and implementing consulting projects, managing client relationships, producing high-quality technical documentation, and overseeing the performance and deliverables of consulting staff to ensure project success. Periodic travel may be required to client sites, regulatory meetings, or project locations.

Qualifications:

Required:

- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences, Environmental Science, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental consulting or project management.

- Proven expertise in technical consulting, including study design and data analysis for client-focused projects.

- Demonstrated experience in technical writing, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate reports and documentation.

- Strong understanding of agricultural systems, soil science, or water resource management.

- Excellent project management skills, with experience managing budgets, schedules, and staff performance in a consulting environment.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in remote collaboration tools.

- Proficiency in environmental modeling software, GIS, or related tools.

Preferred:

- Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences or a closely related discipline.

- Professional certification (e.g., PMP, Certified Environmental Professional).

- Experience working with regulatory agencies or on multi-stakeholder consulting projects.

- Knowledge of sustainable agriculture practices or climate change mitigation strategies.

- Residence within a 1-hour drive of a major U.S. airport to facilitate periodic travel.
