Specific Job Requirements
•Provide leadership in administering Nevada Cement Company’s safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
•Provide leadership and technical expertise on all environmental issues related to the Nevada Cement manufacturing plant
•Manage all environmental issues, including permitting, pollution prevention, environmental regulatory compliance, training, inspections, reporting, auditing, and contractor compliance
•Interact with the public, environmental groups, consultants, regulatory officials and company management
•Function as an integral member of the leadership team to create a high performance culture
•Develop and manage relationships with environmental regulatory agencies
•Compile statistics, prepare reports and maintain appropriate compliance records
•Perform statistical analysis, prepare reports, maintain appropriate compliance records, and file required documents with various regulatory agencies
•Provide training to plant personnel on key environmental issues
•Assist on plant-specific or company-specific environmental issues as needed
•Lead initiative on alternative fuels and raw materials (AFR)

Experience
Required
•Knowledge of Nevada’s state environmental rules and regulations very desirable
•4 - 6 years: Closely related work experience with a focus on air issues (NSR, PSD, NSPS, Title V, PC MACT), solid waste management (RCRA) and CERCLA and Clean Water Act matters
