- Develop, implement, and maintain Conuma’s Environmental Management System and environmental data platforms (e.g., EHS MonitorPro).
- Support regulatory reporting, including but not limited to greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, National Pollutant Release Inventory (NPRI) submissions, and sustainability initiatives.
- Deliver environmental training programs and onboarding support to new employees; manage and update site-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and management plans.
- Oversee environmental document control systems and contribute to SharePoint migration and other corporate environmental governance initiatives
- Other duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a willingness to travel as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in environmental compliance, management systems, or regulatory reporting, preferably in the mining or heavy industrial sector.- Working knowledge of provincial and federal environmental regulations and reporting requirements, including GHG, NPRI, and other sustainability frameworks.
- Experience with Environmental Management Systems (e.g., ISO 14001) and environmental data management platforms (e.g., EHS MonitorPro).
- Experience delivering training and supporting the development of environmental SOPs and management plans.
- Proficiency in environmental data management and reporting tools (e.g., EHS MonitorPro, Excel, SharePoint).
- Strong understanding of EMS principles, regulatory frameworks, and sustainability reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare technical documents and deliver training.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments and sites.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Specifically for the EMS Coordinator role, we offer an annual base salary range of $84,000.00 - $106,000.00, along with a variety of bonuses. These bonuses include monthly efficiency bonuses linked to safety and production, quarterly retention bonuses, and a performance bonus tailored to reward your contributions. Our benefits package also includes paid vacation and personal days, 7% RRSP matching, and 100% employer-paid extended health and dental care, among other valuable perks.
