Position Objective
The GES Business Process Analyst is a key GES position within the Global Process Excellence Business unit. This position will provide worldwide functional support, problem identification, and recommended improvements of functions, processes, and procedures related to Growth Enabling Systems’ projects and initiatives. Creation, maintenance, and delivery of reference and training materials will be required. Will lead narrowly focused smaller sub-projects in support of larger, more complex projects or programs within GES.

- Information gathering complexity: Collect and validate data from various sources, primarily one or two enterprise applications, to monitor business performance and process adoption

Nature and Scope
The GES Business Process Analyst is an office position that works with internal customers and reports to a GES Group or Solutions Manager. This position will not have direct reports.
Beyond the completion of their own work, this position may teach and advise others as part of this assignment. They are required to build and improve contacts and to establish new and substantial business relationships.
This position works under general directions. They will independently develop approaches and solutions.
A GES Business Process Analyst is responsible to drive continual improvement in processes and systems and communicate those changes to end users through training and reference material. They will work with multiple departments across an organization in order to resolve problems and implement process improvements. Their acumen, broad understanding of business processes and technical skills are required to select appropriate standards.
This position will provide ideas and recommendations that contribute to the overall success of business process management. In addition to assigned business process management responsibilities, they make plans for small projects or subsets of larger projects that may include collaboration with several other work groups or organizations.
Principal Accountabilities
The GES Business Process Analyst position is responsible for the timely and accurate completion of assignments for the following major functions:
- Execute business process performance analytics
- Maintain documentation and guidelines for business units
- Gather, document and maintain business procedures and guidelines
- Create documentation, procedures and training materials for business unit personnel to be fully effective in both existing and future systems and applications
- Provide support for business process issue resolution
- Provide resolution of global business process issues and the coordination of global business process corrections
- Partner with IT and the process owners to be the primary source for business units regarding systems business process issues and data accuracy
- Assist service centers and IT personnel in obtaining answers to process related questions from the global Process Owners and global customers
- Support enterprise business process improvement projects
- Elicit business requirements
- Support development of data models and conversion strategies
- Support development of change requests and associated business cases
- Develop test scenarios
- Consult, gather requirements, and participate in system change requests
- Support development, testing and training
- Conduct testing as required by new content releases or deployments
- Lead improvement projects of functional support processes. Maintaining high visibility to end-users with the goal to consult on process options and head off potential IT solution problems.
Knowledge/skill requirements for this position include:
- Understanding of business process performance analytics
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred or equivalent experience
Summary Pay Range:
$76,542.00 - $114,814.00
