We’re looking for a dynamic Engineering Supervisor
to lead a team of engineers and designers while supporting both client projects and internal operations. This role balances hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities, including project management, mentorship, and strategic planning. You’ll be involved in everything from developing engineering solutions to guiding career growth within your team.
- Lead engineering projects and act as Engineer of Record
- Mentor, coach, and review work of engineering team members
- Provide technical guidance and problem-solving expertise
- Oversee project schedules, deliverables, and quality
- Manage team timecards, expense reports, and performance reviews
- Support recruiting, team development, and strategic business initiatives
- Collaborate on business development and client engagement
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred)
- 6+ years of engineering experience- Professional Engineer (PE) license required for Transmission/Substation; preferred for Distribution
- Strong communication, leadership, and technical problem-solving skills
- Experience in mentoring and developing engineering talent
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Comfortable working with diverse teams and client groups
- Skilled in written and verbal communication
- Primarily office-based with occasional field visits
- Requires standard physical activity (standing, walking, light lifting)
- Some exposure to outdoor conditions and electrical risk during site visits
- Vision requirements include close, distance, depth perception, and color vision
