POSITION SUMMARY:
Evolution Well Services (EVO) is seeking an accomplished Engineering Product Data Management (PDM) Administrator. This role entails aiding our engineering team in the proficient management and optimized utilization of PDM software solutions. You will be responsible for core database architecture, project management within these systems, PDM workflow administration, and document and revision control. This position champions the use of PDM systems like Meridian and Vault, encompassing numbering schemes, naming best practices, reusability strategies, BOM approvals, automation, and revision control. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining technical and supplementary documentation and facilitating collaboration with external partners. Moreover, you will design, execute, and oversee training programs for our company's PDM software. The Engineering PDM Administrator role is integral to EVO's engineering department development and equipment production teams, working closely with the Engineering Lead, Mechanical Designers, Innovation Engineering, and equipment technical teams.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "May.")
•Successfully implement and maintain a design and drawing management platform covering all EVO drawings, models, and associated ECR/ECO/ECN processes.
•Oversee initial data uploads into the Meridian and Vault systems for EWS, Dynamis drawings, and collaborate with engineering groups and vendors to ensure adherence to required formats.
•Verify that modified drawings meet quality control standards before re-entering them into the system.
•Manage the check-in of drawings to the Meridian & Vault systems, ensuring unmodified drawings are correctly integrated into the corrected drawing packets.
•Ensure redlines, modifications, or changes to drawings or equipment are reflected in the drawings with appropriate revision numbers or drawing number changes.
•Release notifications and associated documentation to parties affected by ECO/ECN.
•Develop project initiation processes, including Gantt chart creation, facilitating meetings, and regular project status updates for fleet builds or design projects requiring engineering.
•Ensure the completion of Design Books and Operations and Maintenance Manuals for fleet builds or retrofits upon equipment release.
•Incorporate equipment changes into design books, manuals, and departmental revisions
•Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging process enhancements and best practices adoption.
•Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
•Successfully passes background checks, pre-employment drug screening, and any prerequisite competency assessments.
•Possess a valid U.S. Driver’s license.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL
•2-year technical degree (4-year technical degree preferred) in an engineering or a related field.
•A minimum of 5 years of operational experience with engineering PDM software and data management processes. Experience with Meridian or Vault is a strongly preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES
•Proficient use of Microsoft Office, digital tools, apps, and other advanced software.
•Self-motivated with ability to analyze, determine work task priorities, delegate and lead a team independently.
•Strong computer skills and experience implementing and administering engineering document management system (PDM).
•Proven experience and capability in managing engineering processes, including Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and related documentation and workflows.
•Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and foundation around teamwork.
•Exceptional multitasking ability and a meticulous attention to detail and data organization.
•Ability to influence others to perform effectively and take responsibility for their decisions.
•Collaboration with all areas of the business, demonstrating a "can do" attitude, a sense of urgency, and effective execution. Proficient in building program schedules, coordinating resources, and plan execution.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR ADVANCEMENT
•Demonstrated ability to effectively manage EVO engineering PDM database systems with the upmost attention to detail, organization and quality control.
•Demonstrated ability to lead, educate and direct internal and external parties in proper database usage and standardization of engineering processes.
•A proven track record of implementing efficient engineering process enhancements with a continuous improvement mindset.
•Successful organization of the current environment, consolidation of PDM systems, and the effective implementation and adoption of enterprise-wide.

The Engineering PDM Administrator works primarily indoors and will be sitting for prolonged periods at a desk, while typing on a computer, whether in home office, corporate office, client office, or EVO jobsite. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities. When required to visit a wellsite, the Engineering PDM Administrator’s work environment may include exposure to hazardous materials, operating conditions, audio up to 85 dB and inclement weather, including typical and atypical outdoor elements and extreme cold and hot weather temperatures. Given these conditions, if visiting a pad, the Engineering PDM Administrator may be required to wear company mandated and issued personal protective equipment (PPE) (fire retardant coveralls, safety hat, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection and safety gloves) and must strictly adhere to all safety policies. Engineering PDM Administrator must be able to lift 25 lbs. independently, and will be required to walk, climb, bend, reach, squat/kneel.
Work hours may include early morning, late afternoon/evening hours, and weekends in combination depending on job necessity.
