The Utility Scale Energy Storage team is looking for an innovative and dynamic Energy Storage Engineering Manager who is passionate about renewable energy. In this position, with a team of reporting project engineers, you will be heavily involved with multiple design aspects for energy storage projects. You will be part of a growing team of experts who not only provide excellent inputs and analysis but are also customer service oriented with internal and external stakeholders.

Employees in this role are strong problem solvers, blending creative and analytical skills to solve complex integration of batteries to new sites. You will manage a specific region of the US in a growing portfolio of projects. The job will require planning, executing, and responding to issues that arise. You’ll interface with internal stakeholders such as development, operations, and business management. Externally, you’ll work with suppliers, engineers, off-takers, and many other stakeholders.

Desired Work Experience SME in utility scale energy storage safety system design and/or project management, with established expertise in one or more of the following areas:

+ Lithium ion battery storage safety: Familiarity with UL1973, UL9540, UL9540A, NFPA 855, NFPA 70E, NEC, applicable IFC/IBC sections
