as an Engineering Manager, Distributed Energy Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for technical oversight of Alectra’s Distributed Energy Solutions business, including supporting project development through identifying, qualifying and specifying innovative technology solutions, evaluating technical and commercial feasibility, conducting, supervising and reviewing in-house preliminary design activities, and providing detailed review of 3rd party detailed designs. The purpose of this position is to ensure Alectra is an industry leader in Energy Solutions to provide customers energy choices and to drive revenue and commercial success for Alectra.

What You’ll Do

Leading the interconnection processes with ISOs/RTOs/utilities including developing and filing applications, managing interconnection timelines, and reviewing the CIA/SIA study reports, evaluating the transmission and distribution upgrade costs, and negotiating the interconnection agreements and supporting active discussions with the utility interconnection teams.
