We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering new grad, recent grad, or Engineering Technologist at one of our Thermal operations. In this role, you will build on what you have learned from school, summer student positions, co-op experiences, and/or recent grad experience and apply it directly to a thermal heavy oil operating environment. You will work closely with operations staff and engineering to maintain/optimize plant operation and field production.
This role reports directly to the plant or field foreman and there will be regular communication with Calgary engineering staff. Initially, a rotation through plant and field operations will provide a basis for operational understanding. You will receive exposure to subsurface engineering and be tasked with analysis/optimization projects. You will also be tasked with minor facility projects as required through operations or project engineering.
