SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. The Engineer, Facilities Engineering provides engineering and project management services for the design, construction and maintenance of natural gas compression facilities to accommodate the expansion, maintenance and integrity of compression assets. This includes the provision of technical services for engineering activities or project requirements, ensuring sound application of engineering and industry practices, technological advancements and identification and recommendation of effective business solutions to support departmental and corporate objectives. Position Details* Non-union - This position is permanent full time.
Key Accountabilities* Support assigned projects and/or programs of a multidisciplinary nature involving project management, engineering design, construction and on-site commissioning of project related corporate assets to ensure projects proceed safely, are on budget and are executed according to planned schedules.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities* Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Petroleum, Chemical, Civil or Agricultural discipline preferred, others may also be considered).
An Engineer-in-training (new graduates or those with less than five years’ experience) may also be considered as a path to advance to a Professional Engineer.
A suitable combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered. Additional Information* Travel, including overnight stays away from bid headquarters, is required on occasion.
