Title: Facilities Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Facilities Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Oil and Gas Industry. The Facilities Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable design of oil and gas facilities for our customers. This role involves managing the design, construction, maintenance, and optimization of facilities and infrastructure, contributing to the overall success of the operations of our customers.


Key Responsibilities:


Facility Design and Planning:

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop facility design plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
Perform feasibility studies to evaluate potential facility expansion, modification, or construction projects.
Develop engineering drawings, layouts, and specifications for facility upgrades or new installations.


Project Management:

Oversee the execution of facility projects, coordinating activities with project managers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely completion within budget.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including engineering drawings, reports, manuals, and records.


Safety and Compliance:

Ensure that all facility operations adhere to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
Lead safety initiatives, conduct safety audits, and implement measures to mitigate potential risks and hazards.


Technical Support:

Provide technical expertise and support to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to facility equipment, systems, and processes.
Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and teams to address operational challenges and optimize facility performance.


Performance Optimization:

Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, cost reduction, and process optimization.
Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance facility performance and reliability.


Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil Engineering, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience (2-5 years) in facility engineering within the oil and gas industry.
In-depth knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
Proficiency in engineering software, CAD tools, and project management software.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Flexibility to travel to various facilities and project sites as needed.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is desirable.
Knowledge of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) practices and risk assessment techniques.
