Job Purpose

This Electrical Engineer will play a pivotal role in supporting the advancement of electrical systems for our generator technology in the R&D division in Cincinnati, Ohio. As part of our dynamic team, the Electrical Engineer will assist in contributing to electrical sub-systems and components for innovative generator technologies.

Qualifications include:

+ Bachelor in electrical or computer engineering. + 0-2 years of experience in a regulated design environment. + Strong understanding of fundamental electrical engineering principles. + A basic understanding of designing high-voltage electrification systems encompassing batteries, motors, inverters, PDUs, and embedded controllers + An understanding of Power Sub-System Designs covering AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC + Skilled in electrical system modeling and simulation using tools like MATLAB-Simulink, PSPICE, or LTSPICE. + Familiarity with packaging electronic components and interpreting electrical manufacturing documentation for commercialization support. + Familiarity with 3D modeling tools such as NX, SolidWorks, etc. + Demonstrated familiarity in designing and troubleshooting intricate electronic systems + Experience in circuit and PCB design using tools like Altium Designer, or equivalent. + Experience in panel design tools like AutoCAD, or equivalent. + Understanding of governing regulations for electromagnetic compatibility, compliance requirements, and industry standards + Approaches a problem with a smile and excitement unlike their peers. + Highly collaborative personality with a willingness to learn and adapt. + Humbled by the engineering principles and the unknowns of the world. + Self-starter personality fueled with internal power. + Strong sense of creative vision. + Ability to communicate verbally effectively and positively and in writing with customers. (internal and external), to address their needs promptly and to follow through on commitments. + Good problem solving and good communication skills, excellent numeracy and spatial awareness. + Ability to understand and follow complex verbal and written instructions. + Strong follow-through and execution to deadlines + Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 10%)

Role Classification and Working Conditions

This is a salaried, exempt-level position. This position typically works in an office environment; and given the nature of our business is also exposed to operations/warehouses/production environments.
