SUMMARY
Perform scope evaluations, develop work packages and complete constructability reviews, for the installation, testing and closure of Plant Modifications. Provide Field Engineering services for at power and outage activities on modifications, station initiatives and programs.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
FIELD ENGINEERING:
Performs work package preparation, support field installations and craft activities to ensure schedule compliance and cost control of assignment projects.
•Performs work package preparation and provides technical support to assigned projects/modifications to ensure quality product that supports the project schedule as well as the assigned budget.
•Interfaces with Site Engineering, Maintenance, Operations and other departments to ensure design, materials and required support is available and correct to meet station objectives.
•Performs constructability reviews of Design Change Packages.
•Performs duties of implementation engineer (as required) during implementation of site modifications.
•Coordinates performance of Post Maintenance/Post Modification testing. Initiates and coordinates permit work requirements (i.e. ECO, Fire Impairment, Scaffold, Insulation, etc.)
•Recommends design engineering solutions of implementation issues in a timely manner. Coordinates Engineering Notifications Points during field performance of work activities.
•Manages work package documentation and verify STP procedural and work control requirements are adhered to during work performance.
•Supports Project Managers in the development of task estimates, schedules and budgets.
•Supports Project Managers in readiness reviews, pre-job briefs and resolution of technical issues.
•Assists Project Managers / Craft Supervisors with development of Project safety plans, Risk matrix, ALARA plan.
•Acts as Contract Technical Coordinator (CTC) as required.
PROCESS IMPROVEMENT:
Evaluates and improves work control processes and enhances station procedures as assigned.
•Revises and enhances station procedures as assigned.
•Proposes enhancement to work control.
•Contributes to Lessons Learned Program and participates in Post work review/critiques.
SPECIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS
•Ability to monitor and assess project activities in all areas of the plant.
•Knowledgeable of company, station and department procedures and policies.
•Considerable knowledge of planning, scheduling and project management concepts.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
•Accept ERO position as assigned and be able to meet the time response requirements (75 min response time to Technical Support Center).
•Accept outage position as assigned.
•Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access.
•Successfully complete General Employee Training (GET) as required for position.
WORKING CONDITIONS
•Overtime and alternate work schedules as assigned.
•Subject to callouts twenty-four hours per day seven days per week.
•Travel (including overnight stay) may be required for business trips and training depending on the position.
•May be required to carry a phone.
WORK LOCATION
•Hybrid/Remote – Due to the nature of the work, this position provides the ability for a hybrid work schedule between Site and an alternate work location. Alternate work locations require adequate technology and that a solid ergonomic setup is present. Note: Work schedules are contingent on business need.

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology. (Preferred)
•Without the above degree, 5 years or more in Engineering, Maintenance, Outage or Plant Operations experience may be considered.
EXPERIENCE
•10 years engineering, maintenance, outage, or plant operations experience.
