What is an Energy Resources Analyst?

An Energy Resources Analyst is proficient in accounting practices specific to natural gas and electric supply procurement and processes natural gas and electric supply invoices, reconciles volumes and prices, resolves billing discrepancies, and prepares financial reports. The Analyst interacts internally with energy buyers, cost & rate, and various accounting teams, and externally with supplier, marketer, and ESCO analysts and the NYISO. The Analyst participates in the NYISO billing process and is an administrator for the Gas Tracking System (GTS) or Integrated Energy Accounting (IEA) System.

This position has a career path which allows for advancement opportunities within a job series. The title and level are commensurate with experience. Pay range: $71,900 – $149,200
