1-2 Years with Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of training, education, and work experience in a related field required. Technical and/or sales and/or customer service experience preferred.
Assure project completion for small business energy efficiency programs. By working with business owners and contractors Energy Advisors walk customers through projects from program eligibility, through paperwork and program qualifications, and lastly to project completion. Energy Advisors will act as specialists in providing technical products/services, training on technical specifications and fulfilling program requirements. Collaboration with and experience serving large national accounts is desired.
60% Provide individualized and ongoing assistance to business owners and contractors to convert projects according to contract compliance
10% Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, provide technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications
15% Rebate processing, data entry, and QA/QC support
10% Record and provide to program staff customer and contractor interactions to adhere to program requirements
80% Local Travel - Ability to serve customers within 2 hours driving distance of Fort Wayne, IN
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
