JOB SUMMARY
Job Profile Summary
Energy Management Analysts help ensure reliable energy supply for the Company's pipeline infrastructure. This role offers a diverse mix of responsibilities that span from detailed data analysis and operational support to strategic utility management and project oversight. This position is a chance to make a meaningful impact on the Company's operational backbone, promoting energy reliability and efficiency across the Company's pipeline network.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
•Provide day-to-day support for energy management needs across operations.
•Maintain close relationships with utility providers, acting as a key point-of-contact between ONEOK and third-party suppliers.
•Serve as a liaison between technical project teams and utilities to ensure the supplied energy satisfies the project scope and schedule needs.
•Conduct RFPs for utility supply and negotiate favorable agreement terms.
•Execute electrical supply agreements in accordance with contract administration processes.
•Identify opportunities to reduce cost or improve electrical performance across the company’s operations, working alongside affected stakeholders to develop and implement solutions.
•Provide periodic deliverable review and support for other team members to encourage continuous development.
Education
•Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Energy Management, Environmental Science, or related field
Work Experience
•1 - 2 years related work experience Experience researching and preparing financial plans, analyses, forecasts, economic studies, and correspondence preferred
•Experience reviewing and interpreting financial plans, forecast, studies, and analyses
•Experience negotiating and executing contracts
•Experience working with large data sets and consolidating information into clear, concise deliverables
•Experience giving presentations to a broad range of audiences
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
•Knowledge of: regulated and de-regulated utility markets
•Knowledge of: pipeline and/or hydrocarbon processing operations
•Knowledge of: modeling techniques, uses, limitations and fundamental drivers of energy markets
•Knowledge of: economic forces and drivers of supply and demand
•Ability to: apply math, advanced algebra, and statistics
•Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
•Effective communication and presentation skills to engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members
•Proficiency in energy modeling software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
•Ability to: work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
•Knowledge of: regulated and de-regulated utility markets
