Energy Accounts Manager (Commercial Services)

Bryan Texas Utilities is seeking a Commercial Services Manager

to join our team of public power professionals dedicated to serving our community.

In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with BTU’s commercial and industrial customers serving as a trusted partner and subject matter expert in distributed energy resources (DERs). You'll work closely with large customers through the interconnection process for major load additions and distributed generation projects, ensuring clear communication and alignment with rates, policies, and system considerations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Proactively manage relationships with commercial and industrial customers.

- Guide customers through interconnection processes for new and expanded facilities, including DER integration.

- Provide expert knowledge on applicable utility rates and technical requirements.

- Collaborate across internal teams to evaluate system impacts and support customer needs.
