Description


Job Summary

The Emergency Response Coordinator will be responsible for driving the sales for the company alongside of

responding to emergency calls and disasters. This position also involves working within the parameters of the

organization to raise the overall quality of the product through interaction with project management,

leadership, and industry partners to ensure all data related to job sources and referral origins are updated and


accurate.


Job Responsibilities

 Be familiar with assigned territory.

 Responsible for educating the customer on products or services and effectively articulate the use and


need.

 Meet and exceed sales growth margins and goals that are set forth by the company.

 Monitor, interpret, and respond to lead sources from emergency channels, news alerts, etc.

 Establish and maintain positive relationships in the local community with emergency response teams


including fire departments, law enforcement, coroners, etc.

 Volunteer non-operational time to related community events.

 On-call 24/7 to include weekends and holidays as scheduled.

 Achieve and remain current in required certifications.

 Provide emergency recovery kits and services to the impacted property owner.

 Support franchisee and franchisor organizational mission, vision, and value statement.

 Generate revenue opportunities by directly consulting with property owners impacted by fire, water


damage, or other large-scale emergency events.

 Cooperate with public emergency response agencies and private entities.

 Create and retain customer loyalty and preference by establishing a positive and trusting relationship


with the customer.

 Participate in restoration related community awareness events and programs.

 Proactively searches for and acts upon potential opportunities.


Qualifications


 High school diploma/GED required.

 Bachelor’s Degree or applicable experience preferred; work experience will be considered.

 IICRC Certifications preferred but not required: WTR, ASD, OCT, STC.

 Experience with Microsoft© Office application (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel) required.


 Personal time management and organizational skills.


 Strong verbal and written communication skills

 Dependable and adaptable to operate within a fast-paced work environment.


 Ability to manage highly confidential information.


 Strong problem-solving skills.

 Proficient at using CRM software, Restore 365, MICA, Luxor

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential

Incumbent must be prepared to:

 Move up to 20 pounds occasionally, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise


repositioning objects.

 Sitting for long periods of time while using office equipment such as computers, phones etc.

 Repetitive motions, such as movement of wrists, hands and fingers while picking, pinching, and


typing during your normal working environment.

 Express or exchange ideas with others quickly, accurately, and receive and act on detailed


information.

 Close visual acuity to perform detail-oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, such as

preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.

 Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air

conditioning and heating. May be required to travel for short periods of time.

 Prolonged periods of driving. In Different Weather conditions. With different durations of time.

 Working during different weather conditions. Outdoors and indoors to adjusters and


customers property.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, in the office 8:00 a.m. to 10

a.m. with flexibility depending on appointments. You may be asked to be in the office longer or at different

points throughout the day, otherwise predominantly out in public the majority of the time chasing.

This position could requires long hours and weekend work as needed as we are 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,

365 days a year, emergency service provider. All Management staff including the company trainer will be on


call rotation for afterhours/weekend emergencies.


Travel expectations

Travel is based on your territory throughout the day. This is on weekdays and weekends. Although some out-

of-area and overnight travel may be expected to the outlying branch locations. As needed seasonal travel may


be required.
