•Completing atmospheric testing, plant sweeps, and first passes in vessels, tanks, and berms
•Assisting with hazard assessments, job auditing, and permitting compliances
•Develop and communicate rescue task and specific rescue plans
•Rig in towers, vessels, and other working at heights tasks with ropes and other rescue equipment
•Monitor work site, coach, and mentor safety watch
•Manage, maintain, and inspect safety rescue equipment
•Ensure contractors follow permit conditions and best practices
•Respond to on site emergencies
•Other duties as assigned
•Clean Class 5 Driver’s License
•Standard First Aid with CPR/AED Level C (or equivalent)
•Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
•High angle rope rescue certification (through NFPA, IRATA, SPRAT)
•Confined space rescue training (through NFPA or other recognized agency)
•Fall protection experience an asset
•Must be able to work away from home for extended periods of time, work long hours and be able to work both day and night shift
•Proven track record of exceptional customer service
•Demonstrate leadership in all aspects of the job
•Possess strong written, organizational, and communication skills
•Must be able to work in a team environment
•Must be computer proficient with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
•Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol testing.
