We are currently looking for experienced Journeyman Service Electricians. Pay is reflected by experience. Applicants must be able to pass a background check, drug test, and have a clean Florida Driver License. Must be presentable and safety oriented. We offer Competitive pay, Service Van (dispatched from Home), uniform and tools after training has been completed. On-call rotation with 3 plus months in between. DFWP/EOE/MF. Job Description: A journeymen electrician is responsible for maintenance, detection, correction, installation and/or replacement of electrical systems. All duties to be performed in compliance with local requirements and the current national electrical code. Capable of working with voltages ranging from 10vdc-480vac. Able to safely utilize the proper tools and test equipment to achieve the desired result. Must effectively communicate with Clients, Management and coworkers.
Essential functions of a Journeyman Service electrician include the ability to Install and repair Electrical systems such as;
· Panels
· Switches
· Feeder/Branch circuits
· Transformers
· Outlets
· Fixtures
· Conduit
· J-Boxes
· Time clocks/Lighting controls
· Lighting Retrofits/Upgrades
Responsibilities:
•Dispatch efficiently and safely in company issued uniform and vehicle from your residence daily.
•Ensure maintenance is performed on company issued vehicle as needed and when instructed by company.
•Ensure company issued vehicle is washed, organized, and securely locked while un-inhabited.
•Assess the customer’s request for repairs and/or installation and perform tasks as required.
•Requests for quotes by client are to be discussed while onsite with management prior to departure.
•Work to be priced out and collected for as per pricing schedule provided.
Follow local requirements and current National E
lectric C*ode requirements during performance of necessary tasks.
•Notify the Client, Dispatch and Management of any adjustments that may be required to ensure the task can be completed in a safe and workman like manner.
