Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and construction, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, including commercial and industrial environments. A thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) is essential for ensuring compliance and safety on all projects.

Responsibilities

•

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment using hand tools and power tools.

•

Troubleshoot electrical issues using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment.

•

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures.

•

Ensure all work complies with NEC standards and local building codes.

•

Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.

•

Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problems.

•

Provide mentorship to apprentices or less experienced electricians as needed.

Experience

•

Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or similar role in a construction environment.

•

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, logic controllers, and other electrical equipment.

•

Strong understanding of electrical theory, wiring methods, and safety practices.

•

Familiarity with construction site protocols and teamwork dynamics.

•

Ability to work independently while effectively managing time and resources.

Pay: $33.22 - $40.00 per hour
