We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A or B Dump Truck Driver to join our growing team. As a dump truck driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting materials to and from job sites, ensuring efficient and safe operations at all times. Key Responsibilities:
•
Operate a Class A or B dump truck to transport materials such as gravel, sand, soils, and other landscape materials.
•
Safely load and unload materials from the truck at various job sites.
•
Follow all safety regulations and company policies during transportation.
•
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the truck to ensure it is in safe working condition.
•
Communicate effectively with dispatch and management to ensure timely deliveries.
•
Maintain accurate records of delivery times, materials transported, and any issues encountered as needed.
•
Maintaining the cleanliness of the truck.
Qualifications:
•
Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
•
Knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
•
Ability to operate trucks safely and efficiently in a variety of weather conditions.
•
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
•
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•
Physical ability to perform required job duties, including climbing in and out of the truck body shoveling, sweeping as necessary to prevent cross contamination of aggregates.
•
Willingness to work flexible hours, including some overtime when needed.
